Angella (Hodge) Holleman

Mrs. Angella Holleman, 76, a resident of Hickory Ridge, departed this life, Friday, January 13, 2023, in Jonesboro. She was born in Newport on January 5, 1947, the daughter of Andy and Gladys Garland Hodge. She married Mr. Jimmie Holleman on August 3, 1964.

Angella worked for Earle Industries for several years, helped on the farm and with the mowing of Lewis Cemetery. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and playing video games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a sassy woman who loved her family and was proud of her grandchildren and great grandbabies. Her favorite thing to do was to spoil her family, she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Tony and his wife Francis Hodge, and a sister-in-law; Helen Hodge.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years: Jimmie Holleman of Hickory Ridge, two daughters; Katie Wiggington and husband Tony of Hickory Ridge, Jo West and husband Scott of Vanndale, one brother; Wayne of Goshen Indiana, one sister; Cathy Miller of Goshen, Indiana, four grandchildren: Mack and wife Kayla West, Kenneth and wife Haley Jeffers, four great grandchildren; Meadow and Waylon West, Ethan and Myles Jeffers.

The family will hold a private graveside memorial service at Lewis Cemetery at a later date.
