Obituary
Anthony Richard Hicks passed away on January 23, 2023 in Jonesboro. Anthony who we lovingly referred to as “Duck” was born on June 22, 1983.
Anthony worked as an over the road truck driver for Holbrook Mitchell Trucking for several years, he enjoyed streaming HBO max listening to Upchurch and Jelly Roll and he liked chocolate milk, Dr. Pepper, and Mt. Dew. He wasn’t a good cook but was an amazing eater. “Duck” would spend days at the creek with his hammock enjoying the outdoors.
He is survived by his parents John Sr. and Carrie Scrivener of Bella Vista, AR. His brothers John Scrivener Jr and wife Emily of Prairie Grove, AR and Matthew Lackey and wife Heather of Holiday Island, AR Biological son Malachi Hicks of Thackerville, OK. 4 children of his heart Tori Hayman of Hammond, LA, Allison (Bug) Hayman of Walker, LA. Noah and Ella Mitleff of Cherry Valley, AR.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
