Aubrey Lionel Pulley, Sr., 82, a resident of Wynne, arrived in his Heavenly home, Monday, November 11, 2024, he was at home with his family by his side. He was born, July 22, 1942, in Tilton, the son of Oscar Theodore and Vera Ester Foltz Pulley.
Aubrey worked for the Farmer’s Co-Op delivering fuel and spread fertilizer for many years, he also owned a Chloride Battery Business. In his younger days he enjoyed riding in rodeos, and was a member of the NECA (Horse Show Association). He enjoyed hunting for anything, watching westerns, driving the mule and horse wagons, cooking for his family and Razorback basketball. Aubrey is a longtime member of the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church where he was always willing to lend a helping hand with whatever needed to be done, he especially enjoyed helping with the pancake supper. Aubrey was a prayer warrior and had a big heart, he was a giver, great friend and a Godly man. Above all, he loved his family and his church. He never realized how many lives he touched and will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Vera Pulley, one son: Aubrey Pulley, Jr, and one brother: Jimmy Pulley.
Survivors include his wife: Ava Pulley of the home, two sons: Keith Martin of Wynne, Tim Pulley and Chaun of Wynne, three daughters: Leah Miller and husband Dennis of Benton, Sheila Reeves and husband Donny of Forrest City, Debbie Siler and husband Stan of Wynne, two brothers: Sherman Pulley of Wynne, Junior Pulley of Tilton, two sisters: Jacque Pulley of Clarksville, Glenda Pulley Coffman of Clarksville, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, his sidekick: Gypsy and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held, Friday, November 15th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church with brother Rodney Eldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Slocum Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church building fund.
