BILLY JOE JONES

Billy Joe Jones, 60, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at his home. He was born, May 30, 1965, in Wynne, the son of Walter Wesley and Shirley Alexander Jones.

He earned two associate degrees and was a Journeyman Electrician and worked for FedEx in Memphis for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Billy is survived by his Mother: Shirley Jones of Parkin, wife: Jenny Jones of Wynne, two sons: Brett Jones and wife Louiza of Wynne, Tristan Jones of Vanndale, one brother: Kenneth Wayne Jones and wife Kim of Wynne, eight grandchildren: Draco Jones, Georgia Jones, Michael Freeman, Olivia Jones, Braxton Thornberry, Kayden Thornberry, Aubree Thornberry, and Easton Thornberry.

The family will hold a memorial service for Billy, Thursday, May 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Bridge Church in Wynne.
