Barbara Jean Barcomb Foley, a resident of Humnoke, Arkansas, passed away on August 15, 2020, at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of seventy-three. She was born on March 26, 1947, in Plattsburgh, New York, the daughter of Hubert and Doris (Corkins) Barcomb.
Ms. Foley retired from Wal Mart in Stuttgart, where she worked in the sporting goods department for many years. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, and her memory will live on in the many quilts she made for friends and family. She had an excellent sense of humor and was always happiest spending tine in nature. She was an avid outdoorsperson who loved camping, fishing, and hunting. She logged many hours on her four-wheeler and had a special place in her heart for visits to Lake Merrisach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Walter Foley and a daughter; Michelle Hall.
Barbara leaves behind her companion of 27 years; Sam Guill of Humnoke, AR, three sons; Robert Hall and wife Jamie of Plattsburgh, New York, Scott Hall and wife Lori of Kentucky, and Michael Hall and wife Stephanie Hall of South Carolina, her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister; Debra Rodriguiez of Plattsburgh, New York, two brothers-in-law; Larry (Donna) Guill of Humnoke, Jerry (Lisa) Guill of Wynne, AR, and many other family members and friends.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Cross County Cremations and Funeral Service in Wynne, Arkansas. According to Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services and because she previously overcame her battle with breast cancer with great courage and grace, donations in her memory can be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH.
