Bobby Glenn Burton, a resident of Wynne, departed this life Sunday, March 26, 2023, in Jonesboro at the age of 65. He was born December 27, 1957 in Wynne to Mr. George Leroy and Mrs. Jessie Marie “Weeks” Burton.
Bobby was a 1977 graduate of Wynne High School. After high school he worked at Halstead Manufacturing and Rubatex. When he wasn’t working, he would do small engine repair and enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and collecting antiques with his wife, Betty. His favorite pastime was spending time with friends, family and his great grandchildren.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his wife: Betty “Jarrett” Burton, his parents, one son: Michael Henderson, one daughter: Sheila Hicks, three brothers: Rodney, Bill, & Donald Burton, and one sister: Betty “Burton” Ramsey.
He is survived by: four sons: Austin Vest-Burton of Wynne, Ricky Henderson of Groveland, FL, Windel Henderson of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Ty Henderson of Wynne, two daughters: Kara Henderson of Mt. Home, Taylor Henderson of Wynne, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Burton will be Thursday, March 30th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne. The funeral services are set for Friday, March 31st at Three Tree Cowboy Church at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Tracy Wilson and Bro. L.J. Hoots officiating.
