Mr. Bobby Hugh Eubanks, of Newark, formerly of Wynne, passed away at the age of 79, on Monday, April 26, 2021, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born in Clarksdale, MS on August 1, 1941 to Mr. Arthur Earl and Mrs. Louvinia Lovorn Eubanks.
Bobby married Ms. Maudie Frances Fare in August 1979 and lived in Texas for a few years early on in their marriage but moved to Arkansas in 1987 and decided to make it their home. He never met a stranger and was a hard worker, accomplishing much with little education. Bobby retired in 2000 from farming with many of those years working on Ruston Sunset Farms. After farming he had a lawn care business until 2006, and later worked with Wynne Exhaust until 2011. Some of his favorite pass times were fishing, being outdoors, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and especially watching his granddaughters play softball. He was a phenomenal husband, dad and grandfather and will be very much missed.
Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Arthur, Jr., Thomas, and Robert “Frank” Eubanks, and one sister: Earlie Mae Atchley Harvey.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years: Maudie Eubanks of the home, three sons: Kenneth and wife Melanie of Newark, Stephen Eubanks of Newark, David Carter and wife Bobbie of Jonesboro, eight grandchildren: Andrew, Michael, Matthew, Jacob, Hanna, Riley, Kooper, Wyatt, four great grandchildren: Alex, Quinn, Chase, and Addison.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 1 from 12 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral to begin at 2: 00p.m. at the Wynne Church of God. Burial will follow in the Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne.
