Bobby Joe Pittman

Bobby Joe Pittman, 50, a resident of Forrest City, departed this life, Friday, June 21, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was born, December 21, 1973, in Memphis, the son of Charles Marion and Margaret Ann Turner Pittman.

He graduated from Batesville High School and then attended Lyons College and worked in the Auto Body Repair business, the last several years he has been at Boone’s Auto Salvage. Bobby enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, joking around with his family and friends and grilling food for everyone. He never met a stranger and would give his last dollar if he knew you needed it.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Anthony Pittman and Charles Pittman, Jr., two nieces: Ashley Searcy and Brittany Searcy, one nephew: James McDaniel and one sister: Regina Pittman.

Survivors include is Wife: Christy Gahr Kjosa Pittman of the home, one daughter: Haley Pittman Lindsey of Batesville, one step daughter: Brittany Kjosa of Forrest City, one sister: Renee McDaniel of Mountain View, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service, July 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.at the Hughes Church of God.
