Henry Calvin “CC Rider” Cameron, Jr., 64, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his home. He was born, December 22, 1958, in Wynne, the son of Henry and Berline Crossen Cameron.
Calvin was a 1977 graduate of Parkin High School, and was baptized at the age of 12 in the Greenville Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi. He worked at Rubatex as a banbury mill operator until they closed the plant down, then he went to Crowley Ridge to get his CDL with Hazmat Endorsements. After getting his CDL he worked for CTL and Trimac Logistics as a “professional over the road tanker driver”. Calvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, gardening, watching dirt track racing and NASCAR races. His daughters were his pride and joy, he loved giving them a hard time.
He was preceded in death his father: Henry Calvin Cameron, Sr. and one brother: Brandon Wright.
Calvin is survived by his mother: Berline Wright of Sugar Hill, Georgia, two daughters: Angela Wright and husband Harold of Wynne, Michelle Neumann and husband Marco of Wynne, one brother: Joey Wright and wife Kim of Sugar Hill, Georgia, three grandchildren: Maddux Davis, Grayson Wright and Adalynn Matlock and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held, Tuesday, June 13, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the EACC Tech Center in Wynne.
Cross County Funeral Service & Crematory was honored with handling the arrangements for the Cameron family.
