Carlos Lee Moran

Carlos Lee Moran, 80, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born, June 26, 1943, in    the son of Novis Carlos and Mary Lee Marshal Moran. He married Miss Hazel Pugh on August 24, 1965.

He was a 1963 graduate of Vanndale High School and worked as a farmer for the Brian Moery Farms for 40 years, retiring in 2007. Carlos was a hard worker and provided well for his family. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his 4-wheeler. He was a good man, husband, father and grandfather. His greatest love was his dog “Taz” and his family especially the grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Novis and Mary Moran, one brother: Jim Moran.

Survivors include: his wife of 58 years; Hazel Moran of the home, one son; Carl Moran of Wynne, one daughter; Lisa Harbin of Wynne, one brother; Robert Moran and wife Carolyn of Wynne, three sisters; Mary Kiser of Biloxi, Mississippi, Rose Hess and husband Lenny of Hot Springs, Ann Carter of Jonesboro, one granddaughter; Keri Mainer of Oregon and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held, Friday, March 8th from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Wynne First Assembly of God Church, funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Loughridge Cemetery in Colt.
