Glenn Neisler, 73, a lifelong resident of Wynne, departed this life, Monday, December 4, 2023, in Jonesboro after a short illness. He was born July 6, 1950, in Wynne, the son of Robert Franklin Neisler and Joy Ollie Brawner Neisler.
He was a 1968 graduate of Wynne High School, attended 2 years at EACC. He served in the US Army during Viet Nam from 1969-1972, earning 2 (ARCOM) Army Commendation Metals. Glenn retired from Halstead/Mueller, and then drove a grain hauler for John Boeckmann farms from 2010 until 2023. He was a member of the Fitzgerald Baptist Church, lifetime member of the VFW and enjoyed tinkering with everything and helping others.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Margie Weeks Neisler, two brothers: Walter Neisler, Donald Neisler, and one sister: Annette Jetton.
Survivors include: one son: Kevin Neisler and his wife Staci of McCrory, four daughters: Shannon Kirtley of Cherry Valley, Bobbie Phillips of Wynne, Sarah Bashaw and husband Jason of Wynne, Chastity Yates-Sandoval of Jonesboro, one brother: Jerry Bo Neisler of Mountain Home, ten grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The family is honoring Glenn’s wishes to be cremated, a memorial service will be held, Saturday, Dec. 16th at 1:00 p.m., a the Fitzgerald Baptist Church. Private burial will be in Crosslawn Cemetery.
