Christopher Paul Wood

    Christopher Paul Wood of Cherry Valley, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Wynne at the age of 44. He was born on June 30, 1977 in Wynne to Terry “Ted” Edward and Donna Jean “Coats” Wood.

    Chris was a 1995 graduate of Cross County High School and then worked for Nichols Roofing for 25 years. He was very loud & opinionated but loved with a big kind heart, would do anything for others, and was very protective of his family especially his momma and his daughter Kristin. He enjoyed all types of music, fishing, wearing his crocs, shooting fireworks, entertaining, and was a good cook and really enjoyed grilling out with friends and family. He was the best dad ever!

    He was preceded in death by his father: Ted Wood.

    Chris is survived by his wife: Teresa Hill of the home, his mother: Donna King of Cherry Valley, one daughter: Kristin Wood of Cherry Valley, two brothers: Colton King & Teddy Wood both of Vanndale, two sisters: Amy South of Vanndale, and Brittney Davis of Paragould.

    Visitation will be Thursday, January 13th from 6-8 p.m. at Vanndale Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday, January 14th at 1:00 p.m. also at Vanndale Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Vanndale Cemetery.
