Daniel "Chris" Griffin

Daniel “Chris” Griffin,51, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Jonesboro. He was born, January 20, 1973, in Wynne, the son of Bobby Joe and Jewel Maxine Clegg Griffin.

Chris graduated from home-schooling in 1993, then began farming and landscaping, which was his passion. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors, working on equipment, being outdoors and shooting his guns. Chris was very patriotic and had a great sense of humor and was known as a jokester. He was strong-willed and could do anything he put his mind to and could figure out how to build or repair anything. His greatest joy in life was his children and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Joe and Jewel Griffin.

Survivors include one son: Jacob Griffin and Fiancee Emma of Paragould, two daughters; Jesse Griffin of Paragould, Josie Griffin and friend Ezra Gloyd of Paragould, four brothers; Tim Griffin and wife Renee of Wynne, Glenn Griffin of Wynne, Brent Sugg of Wynne, Jessie Fryer of Forrest City, one sister; Donna Daughtery and husband Tim of Wynne, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held, Sunday, May 19th at the Colt Community Center in Colt at 2:00 p.m. followed by a visitation from 3 until 5:00 p.m.
