Danny Lee Norviel

Danny Lee Norvile of Hickory Ridge passed away peacefully on August 1st at home at the age of 82. Dan was born in Hickory Ridge, to Leuin Estle and Beatrice “Dye” Norvile on January 29, 1940.

Dan always lived in the Cross County and Hickory Ridge area. He enjoyed trail rides, horse shows, cutting wood, fishing and hunting. He also loved playing with his grand and great grandchildren.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Don Norviel and two great grandchildren: Bentley Sipes and Mary Keaton Hess.

Dan leaves his wife of 56 years: Sydney “Proctor” Norviel, three children, one son, Dan Norvile, Jr. and wife Terrie of Wynne, two daughters: Tammy Thomas of Hickory Ridge, and LaVon Hess and husband Stevie of Wynne, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Lewis Cemetery in Hickory Ridge.
