David Sagaskey Obituary

David Alan Sagaskey, a resident of Wynne, Arkansas, went to meet his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Little Rock, at the age of 67. He was born, October 20, 1957, in Ashland, Ohio, the son of Robert Leo, Sr. and Dorothy Ruch Sagaskey.

He was a 1976 graduate of Ashland Ohio High School and attended Murray State University until he met and married Miss Karen Fay Pfeffer on January 3, 1981. David worked as a driver delivering milk after which he worked for Kool Gas for many years and also was an owner operator of Spacewalk of Wynne, an inflatable amusement source. David loved providing fun for children and family events. David was a big sports enthusiast for all sports teams in Ohio, especially the Ohio State teams, Cleveland Indians and Browns, the list could go on. He was a collector of sports memorabilia and he loved attending the games as often as possible. When not watching or attending the games, David loved to go thrifting at flea markets and other sales. He was a detailed story teller and joker, calling you just to ask “is your refrigerator running?”. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with Karen, his favorite place was New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He attended and was very active in the Wynne Church of Christ, helping in the food pantry among other community efforts, including helping out after the tornado tore through Wynne. The most important thing in David’s life was his family. He loved them above all else and was a great husband, father and grandfather. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his father: Robert Leo Sagaskey, Sr., mother: Dorothy Sagaskey Dignin, and one brother: Robert Leo Sagaskey, Jr.
