Dawn Marie (Block) Zimberoff

Dawn Marie Zimberoff, 57, a resident of Wynne, formerly of Highland Park, Illinois, started her eternal journey, Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  She was born on August 23, 1964 in Highland Park, Illinois the daughter of the late Stephen Irwin and Phyllis Ann Lanthear Block.  She married Mr. Robert Zimberoff in March of 2006.

Dawn was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She took care of her mother in her later years, and was always caring for someone. She loved planning parties for her family, cooking for everyone, but couldn’t cook small portions! She enjoyed attending concerts, going out to eat, going to a movie, or just visiting with friends over coffee.  Dawn was a very out spoken person but brought out the best in others and always had encouraging words. Dawn loved her dogs to the point where she cooked a full coarse meal for them. She was very family oriented and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of fifteen years: Robert Zimberoff of the home, one son: Michael Kraft of Minneapolis, Minnesota, three daughters: Ashley Dobbs of Pleasant Hill, California, Heather Hopp of Wonder Lake, Illinois, Tiffany Armstrong of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, four brothers: Craig Block of Colorado, Brian Block of Plainfield, Illinois, Sean Block of Chicago and Jim Block of Chicago, seven grandchildren and her two dogs; Cosmo and Shiloh.

A memorial service will be held for Dawn in Illinois at a later date, to be announced.

Cross County Funeral Service & Crematory was honored with handling the arrangements for the Zimberoff family.
