Dennis Wayne Tucker, 79, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Friday, August 1, 2025, in Jonesboro. He was born, December 5, 1945, in Balch, Arkansas, the son of Loftin Frank and Bonnie Rolland Tucker.
He was a 1964 graduate of Vanndale High School and worked as a self-employed residential carpenter. He was a Baptist minister in his younger days. He was known as a simple man with a kind heart, but watch out for his jokes! Dennis lived his life to the fullest and lived it his way, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his dogs and his family.
Dennis was preceded in death by his Father: Loftin Tucker, Mother: Bonnie Wilson Rolland, significant other: Jackie Birkhead, two brothers: Gerald Rolland, Jr., Buddy Rolland, and one sister: Barbara Sutherland.
He is survived by one son: Dennis Tucker, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Guntersville, Alabama, one daughter: Angela Homewood and her husband Tony of Wynne, three brothers: Tommy Tucker and wife Fay of Wynne, Randy Rolland and wife Rosanne of Houston, Texas, Loftin Tucker, Jr. of Paragould, four sisters: Carolyn Minton and Mac Williams of Wynne, Gwen Wells of Fayetteville, Marrietta Brady of Casa Grande, Arizona, Betty Robinette of Casa Grande, Arizona, three grandchildren: Clayton Homewood, Haven Brown and Reece Tucker, and four great grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
