Donnie Harmon Deason, 66, a resident of Helena, formerly of Wynne, departed this life, Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was born, July 1, 1957, in Wynne, the son of Edward Thomas and Ruby Mae Johnson Deason.
He was a 1975 graduate of Wynne High School and worked at Halstead for over 20 years. He enjoyed cookouts, going to the lake and living life. Donnie was not a social person but loved his family and enjoyed hanging out with them.
He was preceded in death by his Father: Edward Thomas Deason, Mother: Ruby Mae Woods, several brothers and sisters.
Donnie is survived by four brothers: Tommy Deason and wife Deborah of Cherry Valley, Ernie Browner of Helena, Thomas Woods of Helena and Joe Woods of Southaven, Mississippi and a host of other family members and friends.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
