Ellen Louise (McCoun) Jones

Ellen Louise Jones, 61, a resident of Brinkley, departed this life, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Little Rock. She was born, August 14, 1962, in Coshocton, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Beulah Stanley McCoun. She met Mr. Scott Allen Jones in 2001, and married him, October 19, 2012.

Ellen worked for Walmart, in several locations, as a cashier for 30 years, and was currently working in Lonoke, and loved the people she met while working. She loved being outdoors with her pets while Scott was grilling. She enjoyed music, dancing, fishing, and being with people. She adored her husband, dogs and family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Walter McCoun.

She is survived by her husband of eleven years: Scott Jones of Brinkley, one brother Chuck McCoun of Roseville, Ohio, two sisters: Beatrice Sharrock of Walhonding, Ohio, Sharon Sharrock of Lafayette, Ohio, nine nieces, five nephews, six great nieces and four great nephews and her fur babies; Harley and Roxanne and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Barnishaw Cemetery in Pine Tree.
