Erika Foppiano Obituary

Erika Anna Foppiano, 70, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Monday, April 4, 2022, at CrossRidge hospital. She was born, March 9, 1952, in Zossen, Germany, the daughter of Anton and Maria Kozubel Partsch.

Erika was a graduate of Herderschul, Germany High School and came to America when she was 21 years old. She learned English while watching “All in the Family” on TV. Erika married Danny Foppiano on February 12, 1971. She enjoyed dancing, and singing karaoke with her husband. She never missed watching her boys play a baseball game, never met a stranger and was very proud of her grandchildren. Erika was the best wife, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. She always put others before herself and will be missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Danny Foppiano, three brothers; Joseph Partsch, Johann Partsch, Adolf Partsch, one sister; Maria Anna Manning.

Survivors include her husband: Danny Foppiano on Horn Lake, MS, sons: Terry Foppiano and wife Michelle of Horn Lake, MS, Joel Foppiano of Byhalia, MS and special niece; Kithy Sauth, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
