Everett "Kountry" Louis Chism

Everett Louis Chism, affectionately known as “Kountry”, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Sunday, July 20, 2025, at his home unexpectedly, he was 66 years old. He was born, January 8, 1958, in Benton, the son of Fred Eugene and Faylene Miller Chism.

Kountry was a 1977 graduate of Wynne High School, then he attended Forrest City Vo-Tech school to learn small engine repair.  He served in the US Navy for one year and then went to work on the tugboats and barges, for the next twenty-eight years.  He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and tinkering with anything that had a motor. Kountry had a kind heart and when he was able, he would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

His friends will hold a memorial service at a later date.
