Faye Joy Wright, 92, a resident of Forrest City, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, October 5, 2023. She was born, November 10, 1930, the daughter of Lytle and Maudie Mae Fendley Warner.
Faye was a 1948 graduate of Vanndale High School, she moved to St. Louis shortly after graduation, working at various jobs, before starting the Pioneer Vending Company. She was very independent and thrifty, she walked 2 miles every day. Faye was a member of St. Ann’s Baptist Church in Missouri and has lived at St. Francis Assisted Living for the past 7 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Lester Wright, one brother: William Phillips and one sister: Barbara Erspamer.
Survivors include three sisters: Marcella Pendarvis of Glendale, Arizona, Glenda Caldwell of Wynne and Beverly Tims of Kingman, Arizona, one stepdaughter: Cheryl Dennison, three step grandchildren: Kendall Smarsh, Kasey Smarsh and Kim Smarsh.
Graveside memorial services will be held, Monday, October 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.
Cross County Funeral Service & Crematory was honored with handling the arrangements for the Wright family.
