Harry Edward Cotton, 61, a resident of Dundee, Mississippi, formerly of Wynne, departed this life, Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Memphis. He was born, July 24, 1961, in Greenville, Michigan, the son of Harry Blaine and Carla Dawn Buckley Cotton.
Harry served in the US Navy from September 1982 until June 1986, and then entered the Navy Reserves for an additional 2 years. He married Norma Spencer February 27, 1987. Harry worked in the propane industry for over 24 years, retiring from Suburban Propane. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing all types of projects with his son and was a huge fan of Alabama football. Harry enjoyed being with his family and was a hero and model father to his children and honored his wife of 34 years. His legacy will live on in his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; Harry Cotton.
Survivors include his mother: Carla Cotton of Moonlake, Mississippi, wife: Norma Burton Cotton of the home, one son; Jeremy Cotton and wife Courtney of Moonlake, Mississippi, two daughters: Sonya Blake and husband Robert of Jackson, Tennessee, Holly Fisher of Wynne, two sisters: Joyce Gooch and husband George of Wynne, Janice Adrian and husband John of Nashville, Tennessee five grandchildren: Lindsey Blake, Lexa Blake, Emilee Fisher, Max Fisher and Andrew Fisher and special friends; Clint and Renee Young of Vanndale.
A memorial graveside service will be held at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye with Military Honors on December 16, at 2:00 p.m.
