Howard Dewayne Yarbrough, 70, a lifelong resident of Wynne, departed this life, Friday, May 2, 2025, in Jonesboro. He was born, July 21, 1954, in Wynne, the son of Wilburn Howard and Flossie Jean Barker Yarbrough.
Dewayne worked in various factories throughout the years, including Halstead, Rubatex and the latest Valley View Agri. He loved the outdoors, watching TV, southern rock music, making others laugh and life, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Dewayne was a very giving man in life and death, in life he would give you the shirt off his back, in death he gave to extend a stranger’s life.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Wilburn and Flossie Yarbrough, wife: Debbie Yarbrough, two brothers: Roger Yarbrough and Tim Yarbrough.
Survivors include: two sons: Daniel Potter and his wife Mindy of Batesville, Dustin Potter and his wife Shauna of Wynne, one daughter: Deanna Potter of Vanndale, one brother: Rick Yarbrough of Wynne, two sisters: Becky Jones of Hickory Ridge, Kay Pfaltzgraff of Odgen, Iowa, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church. Inurnment will be in Fisher Cemetery.
