James Daniel Wolgamott, Sr.

James Daniel Wolgamott, Sr., 75, of Wynne, departed this life, Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was born, July 7, 1945, in Laurel, Mississippi the son of Vernon and Opal Pitts Wolgamott.

Mr. Wolgamott, worked as a baby photographer before getting into construction and in recent years worked as property manager for his son, Danny. James lived life to the fullest and enjoyed “the ride”. He told fortunes and made folk art and enjoyed dancing. He had a good heart and would help his friends when there was a need. He also worked for the Goodwill for time helping many of those in need. James always had time for the disadvantaged. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Gail Wolgamott.

James is survived by his son: Danny Wolgamott and wife Kristen of Wynne, one daughter; Kayla Rester of Franklinton, Louisiana, one sister; Ella Holifield, and five grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time.
