James "Kenny" Kenneth Pruitt

James "Kenny" Pruitt, 59, of Cherry Valley, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 24, 2021.  He was born July 12, 1961, in Richmond, Virginia, the son of Odis Dean and Gladys Rozelle Napier Pruitt.

Kenny worked his way through Ministry school while driving a truck.  He drove over the road for many years and has been an Ordained Minister for 30 plus years, preaching in many different churches. He recently became Pastor of the Sharpe’s Chapel Church of God here in Wynne. James was a very devote Christian whose main goal in life was to serve the Lord and care for his family.  He was a terrific husband and wonderful man who would help anyone in need. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother; William Pruitt, sister; Sandy Pruitt.

Brother Pruitt is survived by his wife; Glenda Coates Pruitt of the home, one daughter; Niki Pruitt, 2 step daughters; Wendy Long, Patty Marshall, two step-sons; Robbie and Michael Stephens, one brother; Michael Pruitt, one sister Margie Pruitt, and several grandchildren.

Kenny wishes were to be cremated without services.
