Jeffery Wayne Gore, 65, a resident of Forrest City, departed this life Saturday, September 28, 2024 at his home. He was born May 3, 1959, in Forrest City, the son of Clinton and Linda Gail Eppes Gore.
Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Nathan Bedford Forrest Academy in Forrest City, and work as an Iron Worker at Nuclear plants across the county for approximately 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, riding four wheelers, and anything else outdoors. Jeff never really grew up, he loved getting the grandchildren in trouble and feeding them full of candy and sweets before they went home, he was the best Pop Pops! He was a great Dad and was best friend to his daughter, Arielle. Growing up the two of them had a great time when they were together, he was always the fun parent.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Linda Gore.
Survivors include his father; Clinton Gore and wife Kay, only daughter: Arielle Barnett and husband Jeremy of Wynne, two brothers: Tony Gore and wife Carol of Fayetteville, Stacy Gore and wife Brandy of Horseshoe Bend, two sisters: Kim Jeffers and husband Scott of Wynne and Stephanie Lucas, four grandchildren: Jensen, Dean, Sammi and John Barnett, a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service for Jeff, at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Camp Calvary in Wynne with Reverend James Fryer officiating.
