Jeffery Wade Walker

Jeff Walker, 54, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his home. He was born, December 31, 1969, in Osceola, the son of Robert D., Sr. and Sheila Jane Potter Walker.

Jeff owned and operated Walker Floor Covering and Installation. He was good at his trade; it is said he was the best in Cross County. Jeff worked and played hard, he had a good sense of humor and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his granddaughter. Jeff was an amazing father, husband and friend, he was considered “one of the Good Guys”. He will be greatly missed by everyone, especially those who loved him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his daughter: Lacey Walker in 1989.

Survivors include his parents: Robert Walker, Sr. and Sheila Walker of Cherry Valley, love of his life: Leslie Walker of the home, daughter: Kyla Walker of Wynne, brother: Dale Walker of Virginia Beach, VA and only grandchild: Keylee Anna Stricklin of Cherry Valley.

A visitation will be held, Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Woodard Funeral Home in Wynne. The family is honoring Jeff’s wishes for no service and cremation after visitation.
