John Cleveland Britt

John Cleveland Britt, 84, a resident of Forrest City, departed this life, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Marianna, Arkansas, the son of the late William and Elizabeth Pinegar Britt.

 John served in the US Navy for 6 years from 1956 until 1962 during the Viet Nam war. After serving, he became a very quiet man, who enjoyed writing theories, nobody is sure about what! He loved classical music and watching documentaries. John was a very serious, but sweet and kind man to his cousin, who cared for him in his final days.

He is survived by two cousins: Tammie Page of Forrest City and Leslie Rothe and husband Jeff of South Bend, Indiana.

Inurnment will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye with Military honors, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
