John Gregory Roberts

John Gregory Roberts, 57, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Friday, December 8, 2023, in Memphis. He was born August 23, 1966, in Forrest City, the son of Archie Cellon and Minnie Laverne Geater Roberts.

He was a 1986 graduate of Palestine High School and worked for the Arkansas Department of Transportation. He liked watching NASCAR, Dallas Cowboys, Razorback football, cooking and grilling. John was a great brother, who acted like a grouch but was really just a “teddy bear” with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Jerry Roberts, and one sister; Glenda Burton.

Survivors include one brother; Jeff Roberts and wife Devon, of Manchester, Connecticut, four sisters; Teresa Baldwin and husband Carl of Wynne, Annette Malone of Wynne, Sandra Roberts of Wynne, Melissa Hamilton of Searcy, and many nieces, nephews and other family and many friends.

The family is honoring John’s wish to be cremated with no services.
