Katherine "Kathy" Lee Holder

Katherine “Kathy” Lee Holder, 61, a resident of West Memphis, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 25, 2024, in West Memphis. She was born, April 17, 1963, the daughter of J.D. and Norma Jean Bentley Holder.

Kathy was a 1982 graduate of Stratford High School and then went to Vol State to receive her degree as a Surgical Technician. She worked for Baptist Hospital in the Labor and Delivery department most of her career. Kathy was a member of the Generation Changers Church in Donaldson, Tennessee and loved volunteering and attending in her church. She loved her job and enjoyed people watching, Mexican food and spending time with her family and friends. She had a bubbly personality and was always very funny, she was the “Fun Aunt” in the family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.D and Norma Holder and her only brother: Clarence “Bo” Holder.

Survivors include her only son: Ellis Alsobrooks of West Memphis, one daughter: Tara Davis and husband Jacob of Glasco, Kentucky, three nephews: Jay Holder and wife Joey Lynn of West Memphis, David Holder of Poplar Grove, and Brandon Holder of Marion.

The family will hold a memorial service for Kathy at a later date to be announced.
