Larry Raymond Gunn, 76, a resident of West Helena, departed this life, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home. He was born, July 24, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Charles William Gunn and Fronia Mae Parker Gunn.
He was a 1967 graduate of Central High School in West Helena and then served in the US Army in Germany before attending 1 year of college. He worked for 40 plus years for Dough Boy Industries. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being the family clown and jokester. Larry had a great sense of humor, but he could be stubborn at times. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Fronia Gunn and one brother: Parker Lee Gunn.
Survivors include two brothers: Charles Gunn and family of West Helena and Tommy Gunn and family of Malvern, special friends: Morgan and Kim Liston and family and a host of other family members and friends.
His cremains will be buried in Bell Cemetery in Palestine at a later date to be announced.
