Mr. Larry Edward Harris, 74, a resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life, Friday, March 19, 2021, in Jonesboro, with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas the son of Ralph Richard Buraham Harris and Margaret Sarah (Hathan) Harris, on June 24, 1946.
Larry served in the US Army after high school and later became an Over The Road owner/operator truck driver, driving for Bruce Oakley for 20 plus years. He married Charlotte Hubbard Hart on March 9, 1979 ad they attended Levesque Assembly of God Church. Larry could always be found in his shop working on his truck or just piddling around. He was a hard worker and loved being outdoors and working on his yard. He was a good husband and a good man.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; Gerald Eaton and one sister; Dianna Lyons.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years; Charlotte Harris of the home, three sons; Eddie Harris of Berryville, Brian Harris of Berryville and Matt Harris and wife Kim also of Berryville, one daughter; Jennifer Harris of Richmond, Virginia, five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted, at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, at the Levesque Assembly of God Church, visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, before service. Burial with Military honors will follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery @ Birdeye.
