Lena Rose (McKinney) Parnell

Lena “Tina” Rose Parnell, 58, a resident of Parkin, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at her home. She was born in Osceola, February 9, 1966, the daughter of Wallace Reed and Erma Jean Herrington McKinney. She married Mr. Larry Lynn Parnell on March 31, 1998.

Lena was a homemaker who kept Larry company while he drove a Semi Truck across America. She would help him load and chain down the load as good as anyone. While at home Lena was a “clean freak”, always cleaning something. She loved the Lord and loved reading her bible, she had a kind heart and always gave to others and put everyone before herself. Lena was a good wife and mother; she loved her children above all else and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Wallace and Erma McKinney.

Survivors include her husband: Larry Parnell of Parkin, four sons: Larry Gene Parnell, Jason Parnell, Gregory Parnell, Peter Parnell, all of Ohio, five daughters: Jessica Milloway of Gosnell, Amanda Milloway of Gosnell, Rhonda Smith of Gosnell, Stephanie Duvall of Lexora, Trinity Merritt of Blytheville, three brothers: Timmy McKinney of Paducah, Kentucky, Greg McKinney of Fort Smith, Gerald McKinney of Covington, Georgia, three sisters: Rhonda Cassandra of Fort Smith, Rita Greene of Covington, Georgia, Samantha Holland of Fort Smith, several grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

No services will be held for Lena at this time.
