Linda Dian (Nickerson) Bratton

Linda Dian Bratton, 75, a resident of Cherry Valley, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, August 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born, February 13, 1949, in Newport, Indiana, the daughter of Eugene and Nona Sandonia Nickerson. She married the late Mr. Tommy Bratton, Sr. in 1967.

Linda was a very simple woman, who was quiet and happy most of the time. She was a longtime member of the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church, enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, her bible studies, and going to yard sales.  Her greatest love was God and her family, she loved cookouts and Easter egg hunts. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons: Tommy Bratton, Jr. of Vanndale, Cody Bratton and wife Nikki of Pine Bluff, two daughters: Tammy Bratton of Hickory Ridge, Nona Armstrong and husband James of Vanndale, one brother: Eugene Nickerson of Indiana, one sister: Janice Chapman of Indiana, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a special friend: Dorothy Franks and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 29th at the Fair Oaks Assembly of God Church and funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, she will be cremated after the service.
