Linda R. Cummings-Crossen, 78, of Vanndale, passed away peacefully at her home on July 28, 2025. She was born August 15, 1946, in St. Charles, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Truman Cummings and Gene Crossen; daughters, Cheryl Cummings and Andrea Shipley; and her parents, Bertha and Wilbur Roy.
She is survived by one daughter, Traci Epps of Colt, and one son, Chris Cummings of Vanndale; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Linda spent over 25 years as a Rural Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service in Hickory Ridge, AR, where she enjoyed connecting with her customers and forming lasting relationships. Outside of work, she was extremely influential in the lives of her family and was always cheering them on and encouraging them to reach for the stars. She made sure they always knew they were loved and was their biggest supporter. Her personality was warm and contagious, and she never turned down the opportunity for a good conversation. She was a steady, caring presence in the lives of all who crossed her path.
A memorial service will be held on a date to be announced in the future. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
