Lonnie “Jimmy” Cavaness, 78, a resident of Forrest City, departed this life, Sunday, December 20, 2020, at his home. He was born on May 25, 1942, in Colt, the son of the late Lonnie Windchester and Violet “Tootsie” Christian Cavaness.
Jimmy worked as a welder at Eaton Industries in Forrest City before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers; Bobby Cavaness, Tommy Cavaness, Johnny Cavaness and Frankie Cavaness.
He is survived by his former wife; Beatrice Hicks Cavaness, three sons; Danny Cullen of Wynne, Jimmy Cullen of Vanndale, James Cullen of Wynne, three daughters; Terressa Harris of Nash, Texas, Tewana Fussell of Austin, Texas and Sherry Cavaness of Forrest City, one sister; Diane Hicks, eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
