Mr. Lonnie Junior Drummond, 71, of Colt, Arkansas, departed this life Thursday, October 1, 2020 at S. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born February 9, 1949 in Forrest City, AR to John Davis “Buster” and Annie Jewel “Sellers” Drummond.

Lonnie was a 1968 graduate of Wynne High School. He worked and retired from the Cross County Road Department. He belonged to Loyal Order of The Moose Lodge for many years, and owned and operated Drummond Mowing Company for 25 years. Lonnie enjoyed working, and mowed a lot of cemeteries. Mr. Drummond attended Cherry Valley Baptist Church as often as he could. In his spare time Lonnie enjoyed, fishing, farming, and spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Drummond was preceded in death by both of his parents: John “Buster” and Annie Drummond, brothers: Randy Wayne, Johnny, and David Drummond, sister: Carolyn Drummond, and granddaughter: Miranda Drummond.

Lonnie is survived by 2 Sons: Ronnie Drummond of Jonesboro Patrick and wife Shea of Arlington, TN, 2 Brothers: Jimmy Drummond of Wynne, Wayne Drummond of Wynne, 3 Sisters: Becky Graves of Wynne, Brenda Yarbro of Wynne, Martha Bunch of Marion, 7 Grandchildren: Ashley Clayton-Drummond, Courtney Drummond, Kyle Drummond, A. J. Drummond, Oskar Drummond, Raili Drummond, and Anthony Ciaramitaro, 2 Great grandchildren: Brooklynn Clayton-Drummond, Liam Johnson-Drummond, a his long-time special friend: Stella Fuller.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Cherry Valley Baptist Church. Visitation is Monday, October 5, at Cherry Valley Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in Tyer Cemetery in Cherry Valley, AR.
