SERVICE UPDATE
Loretta Ann Hallman, 60, a resident of Brookland, departed this life unexpectantly Thursday, April 2, 2026, at NEA hospital in Jonesboro. She was born, August 13, 1965 in Greenfield, Indiana, the daughter of Norman and Joyce Ann Davis Immel.
Loretta graduated from Wynne High School and earned an Associate Degree in computer technology from EACC. She loved interacting with people, reading, and playing board and card games. Loretta was known for her ability to have fun and always discovered the best qualities in everyone she met. She was generous and willing to help anyone in need. Loretta shared her joys freely, but her greatest happiness was found in her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father: Norman Immel, mother: Joyce Smith, one daughter: Jennifer Hallman, two brothers: Ronnie and Ricky Immel.
Survivors include two sons: Kevin Immel of Wynne, Bradley Hallman of Forrest City, one daughter: Wendy Hinkle and her husband Josh of Bono, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will hold a memorial service Friday evening, April 10th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Caldwell. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m.in Cogbill Cemetery.
