Obituary

Marcus Tine Smith, 61, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home. He was born in Tyronza, the son of late Alvie Preston Smith and Lyda Gertrude Standfield Smith.

Mark was a 1979 graduate of Parkin High School and worked for the Gene Thompson Farms for many years as a farm hand. He enjoyed fishing, having a good time and loved being with his family. He wore his heart on his sleeve and is no longer suffering from a broken heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his wife: Kimberly Smith - Mathews, one daughter: Brandy Smith of Conway, two brothers: Alvie Smith of Vail, Arizona, Joey Smith of Palestine, three sisters: Sandra Sheppard of Cherry Valley, Pamela Swinney of Lonoke, Stephanie Mason of Forrest City, and one grandchild on the way.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Cross County Funeral Service & Crematory was honored to handle the arrangements for the Smith family.
