Mary Sue Eubanks

Mary Sue Eubanks, 68, a resident of Jonesboro, AR, departed this life, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro with her family by her side. She was born, August 10, 1957, in Jonesboro, AR , the daughter of Arthur Everette Eubanks and Mary Catherine Hansen Eubanks.

Mary graduated from high school in Colorado, marking the beginning of her journey into the workforce. She dedicated 26 years to Safeway bakery in California, where she developed her skills

and formed lasting relationships. Later, Mary continued her career at Hay’s, working in the bakery for an additional 10 years. She found real enjoyment in her work and took pride in her profession. Outside of her career, Mary cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, finding joy in their company. She delighted in playing Hyjinks, shopping, and dining out, especially when she could share these activities as part of her “girl stuff.” Trips to the casino were among her favorite pastimes, where she enjoyed testing her luck, and she also liked playing games on her phone. Mary was remembered by all who knew her as a kind, sweet, and loving soul. Her warmth and generosity touched many hearts, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Mary Catherine Eubanks; her spouse: Donald L Parker, three sisters; Audrey Eubanks, Nancy Eubank and a beloved infant sister.

Mary is survived by her one son; Terry (Marlou Belle) Parker of Fallon, NV, one daughter; Tammy (Devin) Rodgers of Wynne, AR, her two brothers; James Eubanks of Wynne, AR and Johnny Eubanks of Oklahoma City, Ok, five grandchildren and many host of friends and relatives.

No services will be held for Mary at this time; the family will have a private memorial at a later date.
