Mary Louise (Hand) Hicks-Livingston

Mary Louise Hicks-Livingston, 74, a resident of Lake City, departed this life, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Millington, Tennessee.  She was born January 30, 1947, in Crow Lake, Arkansas, the daughter of Lee Roy and Eula Belle Greenhill Hand.

She worked in a factory for many years but mostly took care of her family. She enjoyed gardening, picking up pecans, fishing with her sisters and mostly spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Sam Hicks, one brother; James Hand and one sister; Shirley Ritcher.

She is survived by; four sons; James (Lesa) Hicks, Randale Hicks, Wayne, Jr. (Mayla) Hicks, all of Wynne and Brandon Hicks of Lake City, only daughter; Betty (Ricky) Huggins of Millington, Tennessee, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday from 10 till 11:00 a.m. at the Tilton United Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 at the church. Burial will follow in Slocum Cemetery.
