Mary E. (Windham) Watson

Mary Watson, 75, a resident of Parkin, went peacefully, to be with her Lord, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at her home with family by her side. She was born, January 26, 1948 in Marked Tree, the daughter of Button and Virginia May Simmons Meeks.

Mary was a 1966 graduate of Marked Tree High School, and worked as an independent insurance agent for many years. She married Mr. Charles Watson on December 22, 1991. Mary attended the Gladden Baptist Church for many years. She was a homebody and enjoyed playing Candy Crush, watching Hallmark movies, playing with her grandkids and spending time with her family. She was a caring and loving, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Scotty Scott, brother: Ray Windham, Sister: Peggy Humphries, two grandchildren: Wesley Watson and Wilson Watson.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-one years: Charles Watson of the home, three sons: Jeff Windham and wife Beverly of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Michael Watson and wife Wendy of Parkin, Charlie Watson of Parkin, ten grandchildren and eight Great grandchildren.

To honor Mary’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
