Maudie “Frances” Eubanks, 78, a resident of Newark, formerly of Wynne, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Batesville. She was born on January 6, 1948, in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of Jerry David, Sr and Ollie Linville Fare. She married Mr. Bobby Eubanks on August 24, 1979.
Frances was a former member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Wynne before moving to the Batesville area. She was known to be a “firecracker” not cutting her children any slack, but was a tough, kind, giving, and loving mother and friend. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals games with her husband, catfishing, Wynne Yellowjackets, playing card and board games with her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jerry, Sr. and Ollie Fare, her husband of forty-two years: Bobby Eubanks, two brothers: Jerry and John Fare, and one sister: Beverly Miller.
Survivors include: three sons: Kenneth Eubanks and his wife Melanie of Newark, Stephen Eubanks of Batesville, David Cater of Batesville, one sister: Nelda Fare of Carlise, eight grandchildren: Andrew, Michael, Matthew, Jacob, Hannah, Riley, Kooper, Wyatt and four great-grandchildren: Alex, Quinn, Chase and Addison.
Visitation will be held, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Woodard Funeral Home chapel from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne.
