Michael Joseph Boger

                                                                                              SERVICE UPDATE

Michael Joseph Boger, 67, a resident of Cherry Valley, tragically died in a house fire, Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born, August 19, 1959, in Massachusetts, the son of Hiram and Pauline Lanza Boger.

Michael worked for an Interior Design company in Little Rock for many years before moving to Cherry Valley where he worked on the farm and owned Rockhound Records, a local record store.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, camping, fishing, yard work and being outdoors. He was known as being a comedian, always making others laugh. Above all he was a good loving husband and father and took care of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father: Hiram Boger, Mother: Pauline McKnight and his step-son: Samuel Daqqaq,  one brother: Brian Boger.

Survivors include his wife: Connie Renee Cowgill Boger of the home, two sons: Jeremy Boger and his wife Dlynn of Russellville, Josh Boger and wife Kayla of Cave Springs, one daughter: Haley Townsend and husband Jay of Maumelle, two brothers: David and Kevin Boger and five grandchildren: Abbie Urchison, Presli Boger, Paton Townsend, John Townsend, Kennedy Boger and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Mike Thursday evening, March 26th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Woodard Funeral Home chapel.
