Michael Shane Ennis, 58, a resident of Wynne, departed this life, Sunday, March 7, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was born, September 20, 1962, in Blytheville, the son of William and Phyllis Hyde Ennis. Michael married Miss Judy Coons on April 20, 1986.
Michael was a 1980 graduate of Forrest City High School, after high school he joined the U.S. Army and served with the 101st Airborne Division. He enjoyed working with his hands, building anything, working in his yard, especially planting flowers with Brantley. He loved aggravating people, cooking, playing with his grandkids and always helped Rachael with her projects. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Mr. Ennis was preceded by his father; William Ennis.
Survivors include his mother; Phyllis Looney of Powder Springs, Georgia, wife Judy Ennis of the home, two sons; Caleb Ennis and Fiancée Zoe, Lucas Ennis, one daughter Rachael Hudson and husband Brandon all of Wynne, one brother; Mark Revelle of Powder Springs, Georgia, two grandchildren; Aidan and Brantley Hudson of Wynne.
Memorial service will be conducted, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be held later at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.
