Michael Stanley Norviel

Michael Stanley Norviel, 69, a lifelong resident of Wynne, departed this life, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his home. He was born in Wynne, the son of Willis Jeffers and Willie Thelma Adams Norviel, on December 8, 1953.

Mike was a Wynne High School Graduate and then attended EACC to earn his Welding degree.  He serviced in the United States Marine Corps from 1972-1974. He worked for Air-Therm for 28 years and then for Sanyo, Rubatex and others, he was a very hard worker. Mike enjoyed watching old movies and having a good time with his friends. He was very generous to others, always giving, if he had it! Mike loved his family and always stayed in touch with his siblings, calling them weekly. He will be missed by those who knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his father: Willis Jeffers Norviel and mother: Willie Thelma Aiello.

Survivors include one brother: Kent Norviel and wife Robin of Wynne, three sisters: Kathy Tarbous and husband Al of New Jersey, Darla Como and husband Mark of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Tanya Gordon and husband Rich of Texarkana, Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

According to Mike’s wishes no services will be held at this time, Inurnment will be private at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.
