Mike Edward Elinburg, Sr., a resident of Cherry Valley, formerly of Florida, departed this life, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home. He was born, November 8, 1955, in Yazoo, Mississippi, the son of Willie Thomas “W.T.” Elinburg and Ava Ivy Elinburg.
Mike worked as a farmer; and retired maintenance man for Walmart, he was a simple man with a sense of humor. He loved God and shared his gift of being a musician, he loved going to nursing homes singing and playing his guitar. Mike loved country music, he would sing and play his guitar for everyone, but his greatest joy was being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Ava Elinburg, his sweetheart: Linda Mae Elinburg, four brothers: Willie “Pete” Elinburg, Sr., Joe Elinburg, Rickey Wayne Elinburg, Tommy Elinburg, Sr., and one grandson: Anthony Driver
Survivors include: one son: Mike Elinburg of Cocoa Beach, Florida, one daughter: Carmelia Ramirez and Heath of Cherry Valley, two step children: Dewayne Dees and Donna Driver both of St. Augustine, Florida, one brother: John Elinburg and his wife Dora of Caraway, one sister: Wilma Russell and Larry of Lepanto, seven grandchildren: Micah Davis, William Davis, Joanna Elinburg, Keith Elinburg, Ethan Lambarri, Aaron Elinburg, and Trevor Dees.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, no services will be held, he will be cremated.
