Norris Osier Obituary

Norris Gene Osier, 63, of Wynne, departed this life, May 13, 2021, at home, with his family by his side.  He was born July 7, 1957, in McCrory, Arkansas, the son of the late John Charles and Carrie Evelyn Ashburn Osier.  He married Miss Lisa Lewis on March 4, 1996.

Norris was a 1975 Graduate of Wynne High School, upon graduating he entered the U.S. Marine Corp. He was self-employed owner/operator of N & L Trucking, hauling grain for local farmers.

Norris enjoyed piddling in the yard, sometimes mowing 2-3 times a week, riding the grandchildren on the 4-wheeler, gardening and being outdoors.  He had a love for deer hunting, fishing for whatever was biting, and horse riding. Norris had nicknames for everyone and was a great dad, husband and a very special grandfather, who loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Osier is survived by his wife of twenty-five years; Lisa Osier of the home, three sons; James Osier and his wife Katresha of Topeka, Kansas, Chris Osier and wife Jaclyn of Caldwell, Will Crews of Wynne, one daughter; Cristy Gallardo and husband Francisco of Concordia, Kansas, three brothers; Milous Osier of Grassville, Jackie Osier and Johnny Osier both of Wynne, two sisters; Glenda Witt of Diamond, Missouri and Patsy Duffield of Judsonia, and eleven grandchildren; Conner, Alex, Carson, Colten, Arianna, Kenley, Brennan, Christopher, Carmen, Christian, and Jaemesyn.

A visitation will be held, Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 1 until 3:00 p.m. at the Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne, cremation will follow. Burial will be held at a later date in Woodman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help with the funeral expenses, this can be done online by clicking on the donation link at the top of the page.

Cross County Funeral Service and Crematory had the honor of handling the arrangements for the Osier family.
