Polly Ann (Wilson) Hurt

Polly Ann Hurt,62, a resident of Wynne, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at CrossRidge Hospital after a 2 years battle with cancer. She was born, July 31, 1961, in Helena, the only daughter of Willie Clifton, Sr. and Glendean Richardson Wilson. Polly married Mr. Mark Steven Hurt, on April 26, 1996.

Polly was a 1979 graduate of Barton High School and worked as a Social Worker for the Department of Human Services for 32 years, retiring in 2017. She was a member of the Three Trees Cowboy Church, member and treasurer of Christian Wrangler Camp, and a member of Heart Felt Women’s Ministry. Polly enjoyed serving the Lord, working with the kids in the church, hanging out with friends, flower gardening, traveling and telling Mark what to do.

She was preceded in death by her father: Willie Wilson, Sr. and first husband: Chester Odle.

Survivors include her husband: Mark Hurt of Wynne, mother: Glendean Wilson of Pocahontas, one son: Joseph Lynn Odle of Bauxite, three brothers: Willie Wilson, Jr. and wife Phyllis of Pocahontas, James Wilson and wife Rhonda of Pocahontas, Tracy Wilson and wife Lois of Wynne, and one grandchild: Channing Odle.

Visitation will be held, Tuesday, October 17, at the Three Trees Cowboy Church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will start at 2:00 p.m. at the church, burial will follow in the Central Cemetery at Lexa.
